Résumé

Summary

Senior Product Designer with 7+ years turning ambiguous, rules-heavy problems into clear direction — across banking, healthcare, and large-scale marketplaces. I'm at my best when the hard part isn't the interface: it's defining what the actual problem is, building the case for a better mental model, and negotiating trade-offs across product, engineering, and leadership to get there.

Experience
Senior Product Designer (Contract) May 2025 – Present
Royal Bank of Canada · Toronto
  • Ramped independently across 3 teams in 18 months — Personal Banking, Business Banking, and Credit Cards & Deposit Accounts — with no formal onboarding support, building working context fast enough to contribute immediately on each.
  • Led design of bringing joint account opening online for the first time — previously branch-only — reframing the acquisition flow's mental model right as the bank introduced multi-product opening, taking the flow from one person opening one account to multiple people opening multiple accounts.
  • Led exploration of 3 competing UX architectures for account ownership configuration, presenting trade-offs to leadership and advocating a scalable direction for multi-account applications.
  • Sustained cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, legal, and platform teams through two major pivots, including a "single sales rail" unification spanning prospect, existing-client, and advisor-assisted flows.
  • Influenced design practice across 20+ designers by advocating for shared patterns and delivery norms.
Product Designer June 2022 – July 2024
League · Toronto, ON
  • Led design of the Customer Support Portal, replacing a workaround where support agents logged directly into member accounts to resolve inquiries — eliminating that privacy/security risk with a dedicated, secure interface for 30+ client teams.
  • Led design of League Console, an end-to-end configuration platform removing engineering as a bottleneck for non-technical business users — balancing configuration power with usability through a scalable information architecture and live-preview validation, reducing admin setup time by 40% (usability-tested with internal teams).
  • Delivered Optum mobile onboarding — flows, caregiver management, messaging — for a clinical partner rollout.
Experience Designer April 2021 – June 2022
Accenture Song · Toronto, ON
  • Led design of the Scan & Pay feature for the Tim Hortons app redesign — consolidating payment and rewards redemption into a single scan, benchmarked against QSR competitors.
  • Designed end-to-end iOS app experiences for TD Bank, improving usability and accessibility of customer-facing interfaces.
  • Conducted usability testing across client engagements to inform design decisions.
Product Designer August 2018 – March 2021
Delivery Hero SE · Berlin, Germany
  • Led UX research and redesign of Go Delivery, an order management platform used by 500K+ restaurants worldwide — including field research across 12 locations in Malaysia.
  • Delivered a swimlane-based order management system, preferred by 85% of users in field testing, and unified mobile and web into one consistent experience.
